World Cup – India in Semi Finals of Cricket

World cup 2019, Team India in its 8th match of the tournament against Bangladesh succeeded yesterday and becomes the second team of the world cup after Australia that qualified for the semi-finals.

In a close match at Birmingham, Bangladesh gave tough competition. As a team, they showed their real desperation and did not give up until the end. It was Bangladesh important game to remain in the tournament.

Saifuddin, young player of Bangladesh team showed his potential by scoring 50 runs in 38 balls. It was him who kept his team and supporters alive in the match till the end. Apart from falling wickets from the other end he continued his batting and displayed his willingness of winning against India.

On the other hand,

Lokesh Rahul and Rohit Sharma opening provided a good base to the following players and because of them especially Rohit Sharma, India manages to reach the target of above 300 runs.

for Rohit Sharma this tournament has remained beneficial, If we talk about his current form then no doubt he is going to play a vital role in semifinals. Highest Run Scorer, Most centuries, Highest Sixes, 1000-run mark are some achievements. That Rohit has gained up till now in this tournament.

In yesterdays match Virat Kohli skipper of the Indian team made changes for the match like brought Bhuvaneshwar Kumar back in the team after recovering from his injury. Which actually fall in favours as Bhuvi balled really well and took 3 main wickets.
Besides that Rishab Pant, young talent also played really well.
Now that team has reached in semifinals, their last match is left with Sri Lanka on 6th July, Saturday. And if they win that match then in scoreboard India will come on top replacing Australia
