Vande Bharat Test Run from Jammu to Delhi

Vande Bharat test run by Indian Railways from Jammu, Katra to Delhi was successful. The train reached Delhi in less than 9 hours. The railway is planning to operate this train for the sake of pilgrims visit Katra. It is the route where railways run maximum trains. All the concerned departments have given nodal of running Vande Bharat from Jammu to Delhi and vice versa.

Railway has sent a plan to PMO (Prime Minister Office) for approval. Once they will get Approval from PMO, Vande Bharat will be officially functional on Jammu Taavi route.

But to avail, this service passenger will have to pay an extra amount to reach from Jammu to Delhi in 8 hours. According to media reports, fairs will be around Rs 1620 for full Air Conditioned Train. And for executive seat one will have to pay Rs 3015 for each.

Which is 30-40 % extra from the other trains currently running on this route. Its route will be New Delhi – Ambala – Ludhania – Jammu Taavi in which train will halt for 2 minutes at Ludhiana and Ambala.
