Trump Asked to refrain Pakistan PM on Kashmir

Trump after having prolonged telephonic conversation with Prime Minister Narendra Modi dialled to Pakistan PM. While talking with Modi for half an hour they touched upon various topic including Kashmir.

White house principle secretary Hogan Gidley conveyed that President Trump talked with PM Modi on “Regional Development” and also stressed upon reducing regional tension.

In reply, PM Modi stated that continuous rhetoric by certain leaders in the region against India is not favourable for peace.

Right away after talking with PM Modi, Trump call upon Prime Minister of Pakistan Imran Khan and asked him to refrain on Kashmir issue. Since the abolition of Article 370, PM Imran Khan continuously tweeting against India and accusing of doing genocide in Kashmir.

In his rhetoric, he becomes so adamant that he compared PM Modi with German dictator Hitler. Surely this move has hurt Pakistan badly but PM needs to understand he is not an opposition leader now. The tone he is using for another country Prime Minster will hurt his image in diplomatic relation.

Moreover, when Trump said last month that Indian PM asked him to act as a mediator between India and Pakistan many in India including government called him a liar. But what he is doing today is known as MEDIATION. Should not Prime Minister Narendra Modi ask him to stay away from this matter?

Even Pakistan last week successfully raised Kashmir issue in the UN. The meeting was unofficial and happened in closed doors but still, Kashmir echoed in the UN after almost 50 years. India certainly needs to think about these issues.
