India Pakistan Face off at UNHRC Head quarter Geneva

India Pakistan ready to entangle their horns amid tension in Kashmir. Today at UNHRC (United Nation Human Right Commission) headquarter Geneva Switzerland both countries representative will present their cases. Pakistan who is trying to internationalise the issue Kashmir issue since the abrogation of article 370 is seeing it as an opportunity. As per media reports, they have prepared a 115-page dossier for the meeting. Setting aside his own atrocities in Baluchistahan and on minorities in Punjab province Pakistan is adamant of rasing another country issue.

On the other hand, India is going to counter every move that Pakistan will take. For that, they have jolt down the issue like atrocities on Sikh minorities in Pakistan. Also from there news are coming that Pakistan has released JEM chief Masood Azhar who have been arrested after the pressure built up by FATF. Azhar who is the mastermind of URI attack and various other in the past is the one that brings humiliation on Pakistan.
This move will certainly take Pakistan into FATF blacklist. But the fight is not going to be as easy as it seems. UNHRC chief Michelle Bachelet on Monday has expressed its concern over lockdown of Kashmir for almost 35 days. She has asked the Indian government to take necessary action and provide basic rights to the people of Kashmir. Keeping them under curfew is against human rights. Although she had mentioned Pakistan in her appeal but particularly urged the Indian government to look for relaxing restriction.

No matter what UNHRC say both countries are going to feed their narrative in people’s mind. One here needs to understand that due to Pakistan continuous interference the Indian government has not relaxed restriction. Most parts of Jammu and Kashmir is in peaceful state and restrictions have been lifted from there. Only some districts of Kashmir where Pakistan influence is very strong and where separation demand has been instilled needs to put under watch.

It is article 370 that has grown the idea of separation in people’s mind. Many have welcomed this step and are supporting the government on every stage.

Pak foreign minister did self-goal by saying Jammu and Kashmir is Indian State
