Grilled Chicken Lollipops Recipe

The original recipe uses cornflour, red colouring, ajinomoto and is deep fried. A regular bite made healthy by grilling it instead of deep frying and removing all the unhealthy ingredients. Also to boost nutrition and flavor celery and spring opinions are added.

Ingredients

  • 10 chicken wings
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon low sodium soy sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon red chili paste
  • 1 teaspoon white vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon garlic, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon green chili, finely chopped
  • 1 teaspoon celery, finely chopped
  • 1 tablespoon spring onions, finely chopped
  • 1 scallions, finely chopped
  • 1 tablespoon black pepper
  • 4 tablespoons wheat flour
  • 1 tablespoon Saffola oil
  • How to make Grilled Chicken Lollipops

    1. Combine the soy sauce, red chili paste, vinegar, garlic, celery, spring onions and green chilies. Mix well
    2. On each chicken wing, push the meat down to one end
    3. Marinate the wings for at least 1/2 hour
    4. Remove the wings from the marinade and add flour to the marinade to make a batter
    5. Dip the wings in the batter and grill until done
