Ajay Devgan, Tabu and Shriya Saran starrer Drishyam hit the theatres on July 30, 2015.
According to a report on Boxofficeindia.com, the film has made approximately Rs 5-5.25 crore nett on its first day. The film did approximately 40% better business on Saturday than Friday and managed to collect around Rs 7.5 crore at the box office. Drishyam released in over 2200 screens but fared a very poor number, stated the report.
The report on Boxfficeindia.com further stated that Drishyam made good business in Mumbai circuit but may need a huge growth in numbers in the coming weekend to sustain at the box-office.
