Official Trailer
As the Avengers and their allies have continued to protect the world from threats too large for any one hero to handle, a new danger has emerged from the cosmic shadows: Thanos. A despot of intergalactic infamy, his goal is to collect all six Infinity Stones, artifacts of unimaginable power, and use them to inflict his twisted will on all of reality.
Marvel has set the precedent for its audience to expect post-credits scenes at the end of their films. Is Avengers: Infinity War any different? This article doesn’t contain any spoilers for the actual film, but if you absolutely don’t want to know how many post-credits scenes — if any — there are in Marvel’s latest film, then click away now.
While Marvel typically has multiple post-credits scenes at the end of their films, Avengers: Infinity War surprises by only having one post-credits scene in the movie.
As the movie is now opening worldwide, you can check out our UK team’s full, spoiler-filled breakdown of the post-credits scene here.
While Avengers 4 is still a year away and presumably concludes the story that began in Avengers: Infinity War, there are more MCU adventures on the way. First up is Ant-Man and the Wasp (July 6 – US, July 5 – AU, August 3 – UK) followed by Captain Marvel (March 8, 2019 – US, UK), Spider-Man: Homecoming 2 (July 5, 2019 – US), and finally Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 (2020).
