West Indian cricketer Chris Gayle has become father on Thursday as his partner Natasha Berridge gave birth to a baby girl.
Excited Gayle couldn’t stop himself from sharing the news on social networking site Instagram.
Along with Berridge and his picture, Gayle wrote: ‘We would like to welcome the arrival of our beautiful daughter ‘Blush’ to this world 2 hours ago, Thank God. #GoodHealth&Strength – The greatest gift and feelings anyone would want. Great experience witnesses every bit of it. Have to give my blessings to Tasha, strong woman.’
A few days back Gayle, who has been playing for his Indian Premier League franchise Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB), took a flight back home to be with his partner at the time of her delivery.
The 36-year-old Gayle is expected to rejoin RCB on April 25.
