Riding high on the success of his Salman Khan starrer ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’, director Kabir Khan unveiled the first look posters of his next ‘Phantom’, a counter-terrorism drama, featuring Saif Ali Khan and Katrina Kaif. The trailer will be out of July 25.
As soon as Kabir Khan revealed the posters, Phantom started trending on Twitter.
Produced by Sajid Nadiadwala’s production house Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment, the film is said to be about the situation post 26/11 attacks in Mumbai and global terrorism. The film has received ‘U/A’ certificate from the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC).
The production house also released another poster to reveal the date for the trailer. The tweet said, “4 Countries. 1 Man. A story you wish were true, coming on Aug 28 to a cinema near you. #PhantomTrailer25July”.
In the posters, Saif and Katrina are blindfolded with what looks like the Indian tricolour and the tagline reads ‘A story you wish were true’.
It is the second time Katrina is teaming up with both Saif and Kabir as she worked with the actor in 2008 hit ‘Race’ and the director in ‘New York’.
Based on crime author Hussain Zaidi’s novel ‘Mumbai Avengers’, ‘Phantom’ is scheduled to release on August 28.
