1. Homemade Ubtan for Glowing skin:
Ingredients:
– 1 Teaspoonful Sandalwood powder
– 1 Teaspoonful of papaya paste
– 1 Teaspoonful of mashed banana
– 1 Teaspoonful of besan
– Milk
How to prepare: Mix all the above mentioned ingredients with some milk. Adjust the milk quantity to keep the paste thicker. Using the finger, apply on the facial skin and wait for 20 minutes. Wash off. This can be done 2 -3 times a week. It impart glow on the skin and eliminates spots.
2. Homemade Ubtan for Babies:
Ingredients:
– 1 Teaspoonful of Besan
– 1 Teaspoonful of sandalwood
– 1 pinch of turmeric
– Some milk cream
How to prepare: Add all the products in a small plate and make a paste. Use this paste on the kids skin and let it dry. Once it gets semi dried, remove it with very gently with circular motion off the skin. Be extra careful. This homemade ubtan excessive skin hair effectively.
3. Homemade Ubtan for Oily skin:
Ingredients:
– 1 teaspoonful Rakt chandan
– 1 teaspoonful tomato juice
– 5-7 mint leaves
– 5-7 Neem leaves
– 1 teaspoonful multani mitti
Add all the ingredients in a small bowl. Crush the mint and neem leaves. Make a paste and apply on the face. Let it dry and wash off. They are added to add some anti bacterial properties to this homemade ubtan to keep the skin free of pimples and acne. Multani mitti (Fuller’s earth) face pack controls extra oil thus great for oily to combination skin.
4. Homemade exfoliation Ubtan for Tanning:
Ingredients:
– 1 teaspoonful of Gram flour,
– 1 teaspoonful rice flour,
– 1 teaspoonful turmeric,
– 1/2 teaspoonful lemon juice
How to prepare: Prepare a paste of all the ingredients with rose water. Make the paste thicker. Apply on the face and neck. Let it try and with circular scrubbing motion take the face ubtan off the face. It takes off dead skin cells and quite effectively eliminates the sun tanning from the face and body skin. This ubtan can be used for the body as well. In fact it can be tried twice a week to achieve a glowing beautiful tan less skin.
5. Homemade Ubtan for Summer:
Ingredients:
– 1 teaspoonful Cucumber juice,
– 1 teaspoonful mint juice
– 1 teaspoonful multani mitti
– 1 teaspoonful Sandalwood
Mix all the herbal ingredients with some rose water. Evenly layer it on the face and rinse once it gets fully dry. It is ideal to be used in summers to keep the skin problems, rashes, boils and pimples away.
