Team India Journey Ends after Reaching Semi Final

Nz win over team India

Team India after playing a close match in the semifinal against New Zealand at Manchester England loses by 18 runs.

And with this defeat Indian Team is now out of World Cup. And New Zealand will play final on 14th July against the team that will win the 2nd match of the semi-final. Which is due today i.e. on 11th July, Australia Vs England.

In the second innings in which India batted on the reserve day after match washed out on previous day lost three wickets at the beginning of the match. Rishab Pant and Hardik Pandya tried to take the case forward but did not last for long. Rishab Pant lost its wicket after 22nd over

Pandya tried to go along with MS Dhoni but he also becomes the target of Mitchell Santner on 30th over.

After that Ravinder Jadeja star of the match along with Dhoni played in partnership of 100 runs and took the match so close of winning. He scored 77 runs in 59 balls.

And in the end, once again Team India crumbles down in a pressure game. This has always been a shortfall for Indian cricket.

Now that India’s campaign at the 2019 World Cup has ended its time to settle down and introspect that where it went wrong.

But one more thing Indian Fans this year showed their overwhelming support and maturity by not blaming any single player and
accepting that at the end who played good cricket won the match.

Virat Kohli Indian Team Skipper also wrote on his twitter account

“Firstly I want to thank all our fans who came in huge numbers to support the team. You made it a memorable tournament for all of us & we definitely felt the love showered upon the team. We are all disappointed & share the same emotions as you. We gave everything we had Jai Hind”

Indian Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi also paid homage by saying on tweeter

“A disappointing result, but good to see team India fighting spirit till the very end. India batted, bowled, fielded well throughout the tournament, of which we are very proud. Wins and losses are a part of life. Best wishes to the team for their future endeavours. “
