Oreo Announces Two New Candy Bars

Oreo is entering the candy bar business.

The cookie maker teamed up with European chocolate company Milka and it introducing the “Milka Oreo Chocolate Candy Bar” and “Milka Oreo Big Crunch Chocolate Candy Bar.”

The first one, coming in three sizes, has bits of Oreo cookies in a middle layer of vanilla cream filling.

The Big Crunch is a giant candy bar meant for sharing and weighs 10.5 ounces.

It has a middle layer of Oreo cookies between two layers of vanilla cream filling.

The larger bars can be found in limited quantities in stores around the country starting Monday. Both bars will be fully distributed in January.

Oreo and Milka offer similar products overseas, but this is the first time Oreo is offering a candy bar in the U.S.

In a collaboration with the European chocolate company, Milka, Oreo announced on Monday that the Milka Oreo Big Crunch Bar and the Milka Oreo Chocolate Candy Bar are the latest creations to hit shelves. Though similar products from the two companies have long been available overseas, the new chocolatey treats mark the first time the classic sandwich cookies will venture into the candy aisle in the United States.
